Marcus Wong is a humanitarian filmmaker, photographer and public speaker, who works with and consults for grassroots NGOs to help them tell their stories through visual storytelling. His passion is to use his skills of graphic design, filmmaking and photography to tell stories from around the world, uplift the voices of the unheard, and fight systemic injustice. In 2017, he travelled to Uganda to undertake a three-month volunteer contract with Rafiki Africa Ministries, to raise funds and build awareness of the organisation through public media and communications. Marcus has since undertaken further travels to volunteer in Ethiopia, Uganda, Bangladesh, and rural Australia. Marcus is a John Curtin Scholar, the 2019 Western Australian Youth Volunteer of the Year, and an overall amazing person - you can check out Marcus' work at www.marcuswong.net.
